6 week kick starter program to make sure your puppy starts off on the right foot.
Why did we start this program?
Simple, because there is nothing like this in Auckland that we can see and it is so crucial for you and your puppy to start off on the right foot. Melissa and I over many years have seen so many dogs with behavioral issues, more than we can count, from severe anxiety to dog and human aggression. This is across all breeds from Chihuahua’s, Cavoodles to Rottweilers and German Shepherds. Nearly everyone sends their dogs to puppy classes and daycares, but in honesty most of these environments are often badly managed, staff are underskilled and the dogs that your puppy is socializing with are badly mannered. So they learn more bad behaviors than good. Remember it is quality over quantity!
Puppy Development
The thing is behavioral issues can nearly always be identified when the dog is young if you have the knowledge. But they never are. Not only does an unruly dog cause a huge stress to their humans but they can cause a huge stress to themselves also. The catch is, you won’t truly see the behavioral issues manifest into a problem until the dog is 10-18 months of age (i.e coming into their adolescence), so the first 12-18 months of developing your dogs can literally change your dog's life for the better or worse. We want to help you with that journey, and support you and your dog along the way. Of course we will have a lot of fun with it!
How does it work?
You will drop your puppy off at our HQ in Whenuapai between 7:30am-9am, and while you are working we start training and developing your puppy. You then pop back to us and pick them up between 4-5pm that afternoon.
If you send them with their food we will feed and rest your puppy throughout the day.
At the end of the 6 weeks we will then catch up in person and do an owner coaching session. This session is a great opportunity for you to ask questions and we can chat through things that are more personally applicable to you and your puppy, including any early signs of behavioral issues that may manifest when the dog is older (nearly always in 10-18 mths of age).
What you will get is…
- 6 Days of training and socialization, spread out over 6 weeks (normally $175 per day)
- 1 owner coaching session at the end of the 6 weeks (normally $200)
- Daily updates and videos via Whatsapp
This would normally be $1250 for the 6 sessions + owner coaching
We are doing this for only $125 per day, which means you will save $500 when you commit to the 6 week program. (There is an option to add more pack socialization days if you need your pup to be out of the house living their best life more than once a week. We will make sure they are socialized with a well mannered, balanced pack and it would only be from $45 per additional day, check out our daycare options for more details.)
